What information do we gather?

In addition to information regarding legal persons, we may collect information concerning Workers of our Customers and Suppliers, such as contact details (email, telephone number, etc.), personal and fiscal data, as well as other personal data of a common nature required for the performance of existing or future contractual relationships with our company.

Why do we gather this information?

We collect information about you for the following purposes:
- execution of a contract of which your company is a party or execution of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of your company;
- fulfill a legal obligation to which we are subject;
- if treatment is necessary for the pursuit of our legitimate interest provided that your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms do not prevail.

Opposition to processing for marketing purposes
The e-mail coordinates of our Customers may be used for the direct sending of our advertising material or direct sales or for the fulfillment of their own market research or commercial communication. This promotional activity may concern only goods and services similar to those object of the contractual relationship.
We remind you that, at the time of the collection of your data and on the occasion of any communication made for the aforementioned purposes, you can oppose the processing using the appropriate opt-out functionality available in any communication received or contacting us in the manner indicated at the bottom to this Information. You will be immediately notified of the interruption of the treatment.

With whom do we share your information?

Copernico may share your Information with third parties (or otherwise grant them access) only in the following ways and in the following cases:
Providers Copernico may share the information of its Customers or Suppliers with outsourcers for the sole purpose of executing obligations arising from a contract for which the Customer or Supplier is party or to fulfill, prior to the conclusion of the contract, specific requests, or for the conclusion or for the execution of a contract concluded in your favor. In this case the outsourcer is appointed Data Processor (Data Processor) pursuant to Art. 28 Regulations 2016/679. Controlling, controlled or associated companies Controlling, controlled or affiliated companies pursuant to Article 2359 of the Italian Civil Code or companies subject to joint control, will be able to access information relating to Customers or Suppliers for administrative and accounting purposes, or those connected with the performance of organizational, administrative, financial and accounting, regardless of the nature of the data processed. In particular, these objectives pursue internal organizational activities, those functional to the fulfillment of contractual and pre-contractual obligations, the management of the employment relationship in all its phases, the keeping of accounting and the application of the rules on tax matters, trade union, social security, health, hygiene and safety at work. Compliance with legal obligations Copernico may disclose or otherwise grant access to the Information of its Customers or Suppliers to others by virtue of a legal or legal obligation, such as a tax obligation, a court order, a judicial proceeding, a search warrant, a court order, or in accordance with applicable law, if it believes in good faith that this conduct is required by law, with or without prior notice to the interested parties. Extra EU transfers The transfer of information relating to our Customers or Suppliers, even temporary to a country outside the European Union, can only take place if necessary for the performance of obligations arising from a contract for which the Customer or Supplier is a party or to fulfill, before conclusion of the contract, to specific requests, or for the conclusion or execution of a contract concluded in your favor.

How long do we keep your information?

We retain the information of our customers or suppliers as long as necessary for the management of existing contractual relationships.
We may continue to retain such information even after the fulfillment of the purpose for which it was collected to the extent that it is reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, respect the contracts signed and / or protect our legitimate interests.
